About The Prints

What size & type of prints do you offer?

At Jerry Lane Photography we offer Fine Art Prints both framed & unframed. Unframed prints are print only, with no mounting etc included. The framed options all include a large white mount using archival quality materials. We offer 3 core frame colours, all produced by industry leading manufacturers. The colours/finishes available are: black, almond, and oak. This ensures you can buy something that truly compliments your space. Each framed print is covered in a high quality UV protective acrylic to protect your print and prevent damage in transit.

Sizes

Our images are typically shot in a 3:2 or 5:4 aspect ratio (or 2:3, 4:5 for the other orientation). The sizes are as follows:

  • For 3:2/2:3 images:

    • 12” x 8” – Studio

    • 18” x 12” – Gallery

    • 30” x 20” – Exhibition

  • For 5:4 / 4:5 images:

    • 10” x 8” – Studio

    • 20” x 16” – Gallery

    • 30” x 24” – Exhibition

These sizes will be reflected on the detail page for each print based on their original aspect ratio. If an image is in a 3:2 ratio you will only see the applicable options for it. Same for 5:4.

Unframed prints feature a 0.5-inch to 1-inch border around the edge. Size Guides are available on each detail page and in the section below.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • Fine Art Prints are archival quality prints, meaning they are produced using the finest papers & inks. These produce images that are tonally rich & deep, and will last a lifetime once protected properly. If you buy a framed print from me the print is framed professionally & will have UV protective glass included as standard. This is a piece of fine art you’re purchasing & you should protect it as best as possible — should you choose to buy just the print and get it framed yourself, please consider the above information when getting yours framed.

  • The Fine Art Prints retain tonality and hue on archival papers that ensure longevity of 70+ years. They feel different in the hand — more card-like in truth. The colour quality really shines through on these fine art prints. All of my fine art prints are printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art Papers. Depending on the image they’ll either be printed on Hahnemühle’s PhotoRag Baryta papers at 315GSM or the Fine Art Pearl at 285GSM. Fine art prints can take a little longer to print so please allow the added time for this.

  • Please allow 10-15 business days for the prints to arrive to me. If you chose collection, I’ll contact you as soon as your print arrives to me. If you chose delivery, see the other FAQs regarding delivery. I work with a small independent Irish framing business and they are in high demand. This can lead to longer than desirable lead times but I think this trade off is worth it in the quality of work delivered.

  • Unless you choose to arrange collection (“Collection (Ballybunion)”) from my home in Ballybunion, all print orders are shipped to you directly via A Post or a courier. All calendars are shipped via A Post from my home. You will receive a confirmation once your item has shipped. This will include tracking information for your order (where applicable). For ROI Orders: Please allow up to 14 working days from time of purchase for delivery. I’ll send you confirmation of dispatch as soon as it is on its way.

For international orders you are responsible for customs payments incurred in the delivery of your items.

Additionally, almost all prints are made on an a per order basis, meaning that generally I do not have much in terms of prints “in stock” directly at this point in time.

  • Currently, items from the shop are available for delivery to the Republic of Ireland, the UK, USA, Canada, & across the EU. Customs charges will need to be paid by you where applicable (UK, USA, Canada, etc.) These charges are not included in my pricing & you will need to cover any charges incurred.

  • From time-to-time I might have opted not to add an image to the store but it might be someone’s favourite. In cases like this, simply choose your print from the galleries or from social media (wherever you saw it), copy the link, and contact me with your link in the description. If you don’t have a link but have a picture of it please attach it to your email when you contact me (button below for contact info).

Tell me what images you want, what size and whether it’s framed or unframed (+ which frame), and I’ll get back to you with a link through which you can place your order.
